Our Services
If you need a pharmacist for drug regimen or to answer a medication question requiring
research, an ApoThera pharmacist will respond personally within one business day.
Many seniors have complex medication regimens, often prescribed by non-coordinating
physicians. An ApoThera pharmacist makes every effort to reduce polypharmacy; reduce
the number of medications without doing harm; ensures that patients' medications
are the most appropriate, the most effective, the safest possible and used correctly;
identify, resolve and prevent medication related problems that may interfere with
the goals of therapy.
Our consults are individualized and documented in writing. Our recommendations must
be reviewed and approved by the prescribing physician(s) before making any changes in drug regimen.
We do not fill prescriptions as any part of this service.
